Brenda was raised in the rural community of McLoud, OK and graduated in 1991 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM). She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree, is certified in Lean Six Sigma, and is working toward a Master of Science degree in OSU’s Engineering and Technology Management Program.
Currently, the Director of Pipeline Control for nationwide operations at Tulsa-based Williams Company, Brenda has had an extensive career in the oil and gas industry. With process improvement as a cornerstone, she has held senior positions and executive consulting roles spanning safety, operations, maintenance engineering, and supply chain management functions throughout North America with companies including Bechtel, Aera Energy, Chevron, and Occidental Petroleum.
Brenda has been active on several boards throughout her career including American Petroleum Institute (API), Bakersfield Petroleum Club, American Society of Quality (ASQ), and currently serves on Oklahoma State’s IEM Industrial Advisory Board. Her involvement in industry and professional organizations has kept her current with today’s corporate challenges which serves her well as an active student/industry mentor and public speaker.
Brenda and her husband, Casey, have been married since 1993 and have three children – Cody (USAF), Brad (USMC) and Brooke (graduate of Regis University, Denver, CO).
